Deloitte visit - Dressing

At first we are required to wear semi-formal when visiting Deloitte (although I don't really know what is it look like), after Mr. Daniel had talked to Deloitte, we can now (not only can, must) wear IAC T-shirt to go there, don't wear shorts or slippers.

Now you don't have to worry about purposely buying a set of formal wear, remember, wear IAC T-shirt and dress neatly. For those who had not bought your IAC T-shirt, start your engine and buy it at the counter now :D

Please register for the visit as soon as possible, no matter you are CAT students, you can register to go now, we don't want any student in Inti campus to join this visit, we hope that all 80 people are from IAC :D

Deloitte Visit - Open to CAT student

After we had increased our maximum capacity to 80 people, we need more people to join. Therefore, now the Deloitte visit is open to CAT student as well!!!

We hope that all the 80 people are from our club, if we can't get 80 people to register from our club, we have to open to the students inside the campus, then it would not be fun.

Please support the activity and register as early as possible, only RM12 (RM10 refundable deposit) and you will learn many things from this visit :D

Good news about Deloitte visiting

It is amazing to see that there are so many who are excited to visit Deloitte, it has reached 40 people before one week of the commencing of registration. Now there are still students who are interested to visit the Deloitte so we had decided to rent one more bus which will increase the maximum capacity to 80 people.

This is the good news and this also mean that those who had not registered when it has reached 40 people have an opportunity to register now. No more waiting, register now at the counter to secure a place to go Deloitte, please do it as soon as possible before it is full again :D

Correction in F5 BPP book 2011

To those who are currently studying paper F5, there are some mistakes in the BPP book and I had confirmed these mistakes with BPP UK. In page 68 which is 2.3 environmental activity-based costing, change two things.

Originally it is read as "environmental-driven costs such as costs relating to a sewage plant or incinerator are attributed to joint environmental cost centres" and "environmental-related costs such as increased depreciation or a higher cost of staff etc". Now change it too "environmental-related costs such as costs relating to a sewage plant or incinerator are attributed to joint environmental cost centres" and "environmental-driven costs such as increased depreciation or a higher cost of staff etc".

In facebook BPP has a group called "ACCA at BPP", if you have found any mistake in the book, you can say it there so that the future users will not be affected by it. :)

IAC shirt and Deloitte visiting

Hello everyone just to inform you all about two things as stated in the title. The shirts have arrived so you can collect your shirt now at the counter if you had brought it :)

Secondly, we had organised to visit Deloitte on 6th of April and this activity is only for ACCA students because CAT students would not need it yet. It is cheap, RM12 where RM10 is a refundable deposit, so actual costs = RM2!!! For more information please look at the board of our department :p

ACCA results

You should have knew that ACCA results are out on 21st of February. To receive your results via email, you have to log into myacca, there is a new box which is about registering to receive results via email, click it and ensure you have ticked the box in the next page.

Sometimes you might not receive the results even you had registered to receive via email, this is probably because of many ACCA students, ACCA might mistakenly ignored your email (I had experienced it once). Normally ACCA results are published at 5.00am UK time which is 1.00pm Malaysia time, at that time you can also check your results by going to www.accaglobal.com they will change the front page.

This is important especially for those who just attempted paper-based exam first time, wish you all a very luck in your results :D
